We had an enjoyable stay with our seven kids! The common areas were well-furnished and perfect for family gatherings, while the convenient kitchen made meal prep easy. Plus, the stunning view of Mt. Fuji from our room was absolutely breathtaking.
For dads, it would be great to have a play area for the kids.

would like to go back here again
Super clean room with tatami flooring and cool A/C. Shared bathroom and toilet were spotless. Staff was very welcoming! The entire unit is on the ground floor, making it super accessible. Slippers provided and towels were fresh. Great to see the attention to detail such as smoke alarms. Loved the vibe and the practicality of it all.

clean, clean, clean
The location was convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the station. The tatami room was not only immaculate but offered a fine view of Mt. Fuji, which was a highlight of my stay. I loved how the guesthouse was quiet and cozy, providing a perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

The modern traditional vibe with sliding screens adds a unique touch to the accommodation, while the spacious futon room was both cozy and inviting. The cleanliness of both the common areas and private facilities stood out, with staff contributing to the welcoming atmosphere. While the shared bathrooms were well-maintained, their location on a different floor might be inconvenient for some. Additionally, narrow staircases could make it challenging to transport luggage upstairs comfortably. Overall, a practical spot for budget-conscious travelers close to transportation and local amenities.

convenient location near train station, clean shared kitchen, practical common spaces
It’s baffling how guest services were sparse during check-in!!! After a long journey, having a better system for securing baggage would really help, especially for those with duffel bags like mine!!! Something as simple as a reception presence during hours could elevate the entire experience!!!

i had a great time at guesthouse oc. the tatami room was clean and comfortable, with an amazing view of mt. fuji. being able to cook in the kitchen and access laundry saved me a lot during my solo stay.
bicycles provided were not in good shape.

the bicycles provided were absoluteley terrible, not even capable of moving on flat ground. as for my twin room, I was forced to sleep on an upper bunk, which woudl ve been fine if I'd asked for it— but I didn’t. I was really hoping for some complimentary water or snacks, but I guess that was too much to ask.

I had a fabulous stay! The shared kitchen was well-equipped and I loved the tatami room experience. However, the cold nights were a bit uncomfortable. Would definitely revisit!

We had a fantastic time staying with friends! The location is ideal, just a short walk to the train station. The staff were super friendly and the shared facilities were clean. If you're looking for something fun, don't miss out on the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center.
We arrived an hour before check-in, and nobody was at the desk. It would’ve been nice to have someone around to help us drop off our bags more easily.
